 Nice watch good priceApr 05, 2010
Mainly bought for my 7 year old son, maybe I will use it too. He wanted watch for swimming, fits him very well and servers purpose. Lot of kid watch are same price and are not as close as durability and features. I like Casio watches, i have a different model for myself.

This is an inexpensive but very functional watch. Given that it is made of plastic, it is attractive and comfortable to wear. I bought it to replace an earlier model of this watch which lasted over 10 years before it lost the sound for its alarm. Great for every day wear and 2 useful aspects for travel -- alarm and dual time zones.

I live on an ocean going boat and need the functions such as stopwatch, digital clock, alarms and a night light. Yeah, its a cheap watch. But with saltwater and abuse, i can buy a new one every year or two. I have been using these casios for years. I never keep one as long as the battery will last. It keeps time just like a Rolex. Save the money, buy Casio.

The HDD600-1AV is a good-looking watch with a comfortable
armband. The 10 year battery is a real plus, and, as
with most digital watches it has stopwatch, dual time,
alarm, date, and day of the week. The only thing I
don't like is the date and day-of-week fields at the
top of the watch window are too small - if your
eyesight isn't what it used to be then you can't
read it without glasses.

I am quite pleased with this particular sports watch. The functions are straightforward and the display is nice. I possibly could use a larger display with bolder numbers, but that is more a problem with my waning eyesight than with the watch. The light could be brighter, however. I like the stopwatch feature, which is why I bought the watch, but would like the watch better if it included a timer. For the functions it does have and the many features at this particular price, you absolutely cannot go wrong (and with the 10 year battery I am sure the wristband will give out before the watch does).
